What do i mean by saying “resist conforming?” Almost all the people around you and I have conformed and/or conditioned to follow the masses in their thinking. They have especially adopted their way of thinking when it comes to earning money.

The methodology that most people follow to earn money is an old paradigm. This would be those that trade their time for money. Although some people earn great incomes following this old methodology, they still are earning money in the worse way…even though these people may be doctors, lawyers, etc.

Why is this method the worse way to earn money? As we all know, “time” is a finite resource. And if you know anyone in a profession such as a doctor or lawyer, you know that they are earning a ton of money but they have no time to enjoy it. They have no time for themselves or anyone in their lives. Their jobs dictate what they do and how they live their lives.

As we all know, jobs are usaully everyone’s primary source of income, but it really should be looked at as a second source of income. A job should be something that you love to do day to day and don’t even think about the hours you are working and how much you are making. If your job is what you love then you are using a job as it should be, but we all know that the majority of people working jobs are only doing it for the check at the end of the day. These people that do jobs for that reason are usually the ones that end up broke at the end of the day. They become those people that work to live and live to work and become miserable, unhappy people.

Now, don’t get me wrong…there are some lawyers, doctors, etc. that do love their jobs. So it isn’t like working, but they are earning great incomes and can usually afford all that they want. They don’t have to compromise much when it comes to affording what they want.

But as we know, not all people that work the jobs that they love are recieving checks as large as lawyer, doctors, etc. These are usually people like our teacher, counselors, social workers, etc. Many of these people truely love their jobs but recieve monetary compensation to live Just Over Broke. They recieve just enough money monthly to live, but they are forced to compromise more. This is the majority of people that work. People are forced to compromise when it comes to buying things they want. These are the people that don’t live, eat, have the car, have the wedding, have the life they want but what they can afford. This is why I look at a job as a paid hobby. I will not do something I hate just to earn a fat check and not spend my time they way that I want to.

So what are the more “primary” forms of earning money? One of the methods that is a really smart means of earning money is by investing. This requires a little risk at times but their is no wealth in your comfort zone. You will not make much more money by staying in your comfort zone (uncomfortable=growth=more possiblities=more money). This is a great strategy because you are making your money work for you and it basically requires little to no time on your part depending to the investment type. One of the common ways of investment is something that we hear and see just about everyday. This for of investment would be in the stock market. I gurantee that there is not a person of wealth in the world that has not invested in anything, especially in the stock market…even in times such as now. The wealthyminded people are the ones that opportunity in times such as now when it comes to investment. This is when the they make their millions and billions, while others are fearful and continue to fall deeper into a financial hole. These wealthy minded people may have jobs, but they know if their job didn’t exist tomorrow they still have money coming in from their investments. Many smart, wealthy minded people still work jobs but it’s because they love their jobs and/or use this extra cash to have all they want and minimize what they have to compromise for.

A third way that is great for earning a “primary” income is by creating leverage. This form of earning money requires a little risk also. There are different levels (will go into detail about each in a future artical) in which you can implement this methodology. Some people choose to open a small business and become their own boss to create leverage by hiring employees. Some choose big business and start a large company but need huge amounts of upfront capital to get things going. So unlike investing, it is hard for everyone to utilize this form of earning money. Not may people have the training and/or money to do this. So that is why I believe that the third way to earn money using this method is the best for anyone to begin. It is network marketing…. Some people have a negative perception of network marketing and don’t look at it as a business but these are probably the same people sitting next to you at work complaing about work, life, and money that have never ran or owned a business in their lives. Network marketing allows you to invest at very little cost, provides training, and, unlike starting small and big business, people are into profit mode in a much lesser time frame (usually take 4-5 years to enter profit mode in small/big business). Also people are allowed to create leverage in helping other people become financially independent also. Their teams become and asset, eventually spitting off cash to them and their families whether they do anything or not.

So decide if you want to continue conforming, increasing your chances at become part of the 54% of 65 year old that are broke, or if you are tired of doing what you can and want to do what you want.
